Protecting and recovering the starry sky as a cultural landscape of humanity, more than ever has become a priority.
Vimioso, in the region of Trás-os-Montes, in the North of Portugal, enjoys incredible conditions for observing the night sky, and provides images like this, which make us reflect on the dimension of the Universe. Such a special place that welcomes us so well, where we find an authentic Portugal, that makes us want to return.
After planning some potential sites, we traveled to Vimioso and stayed at the Hotel Rural Sra de Pereiras, which welcomed us so well. As usual we approached the locations during the day, and planned how we wanted the photos.
